Frequently Asked Questions

• Public classes: Here at CPR Kids, we welcome you to bring your babies along to our classes.  Young children who are mobile though, often become unsettled during class – we recommend that mobile children are left at home so that you are able to concentrate and get the most out of your time with our educators. This is also for your child’s safety, as we can only accomodate for babies who aren’t yet mobile, in the hospital environment. If you are breastfeeding a mobile child, we are more than happy for you to take a break and have them visit you during class time to breastfeed.

• Private Classes: Children of all ages are welcome within private classes. Just keep in mind when making a booking that a class timed for children’s naps often works best. This way you can concentrate – and don’t forget to allow extra time to accommodate for nappy changes and feeds! Children aged 8 to 14 years are able to come with you (a paying adult) to any class (both private and public), free of charge.

No. CPR and First Aid classes can be perceived as boring and irrelevant. The CPR Kids classes break this common perception – they are fun, interactive and everything that you learn is tailored to your situation. Because we are all experienced paediatric nurses who have experienced everything we teach you, we can impart our skills and knowledge to you. We are also parents and carers of children, so we understand how distressing it is to have a sick or injured child, and can help give you the skills to remain calm in an emergency.
