After a highly rated launch in 2025, the CPR Kids Professional Development Day returns in 2026.

Originally created as an internal professional learning day for our CPR Kids paediatric nurse educators, this event is now open to the broader health and training community due to popular demand.

Join us for a half-day online event focused on practical, real-world paediatric education – the same high-value learning we deliver to our own nurse educators.

This professional development day is designed for:

• First aid trainers and assessors
• RTO educators
• School nurses
• GP nurses
• Child & family health nurses

All attendees receive a Certificate of Attendance, and this event counts towards CPD.

What’s included

• Australia/New Zealand Resuscitation Council (ANZCOR) Guideline Updates with Andy Panes, General Manager of NIFAT.
  Stay up to date with the latest changes and recommendations from ANZCOR, ensuring your teaching and clinical practice remain current, evidence-based, and aligned with best practice.
• Allergy & Anaphylaxis Management with Briony Tyquin, Manager of the NSW Anaphylaxis Education Program.
  Calm, evidence-based education that builds confidence
  Move beyond procedural teaching to address the myths, fear and worst-case thinking that often surround anaphylaxis. This session focuses on real-world understanding, how adrenaline works (including nasal adrenaline), and practical response strategies that empower participants to act with clarity, calm, and confidence — not fear.
• Mammalian Meat Allergy (MMA) with Registered Nurse, Danika Biddle – Evidence-based education enriched by lived experience.
  Explore this emerging allergy through both clinical evidence and a powerful first-hand account from someone living with MMA. Gain rare insight into diagnosis, daily management, and the real-world challenges families face, creating a deeper, more practical understanding of this complex condition.
• Asthma Deep Dive – Practical management and confidence-focused education
  A focused exploration of paediatric asthma, designed to strengthen understanding, refine response strategies, and build confidence in recognising and managing asthma in real-world settings.

  BONUS: Expanded “Choose Your Own Adventure” Breakout Rooms
  More time, more choice, and the opportunity to attend two interactive sessions this year – responding to overwhelming demand and feedback from 2025. Join a breakout space with an expert of your choosing to dive deeper into the information and answer your questions.
